Danielle Davis
It was Danielle’s five-year-old son, Bexton, who actually got her into modeling. “He loved the camera and always wanted photos of himself,” recalls the North Carolina native. “I took him to an agency and we both walked away with modeling contracts.”
The Southern stunner has been going ever since and took a break from her busy schedule to talk fall fashion and encouraging women to embrace their curves.
What fall trends are you loving?
ˇ
I’m really loving the cropped trousers and jeans. There’s also a cape and a green trench coat from Jessica London’s fall collection.
Favorite shoe or boot trend for fall?
ˇ
Booties.
What look empowers you?
ˇ
A high–rise pant…always high rise. I like to wear it with a front-tucked sweater or blouse. The front tuck creates a little more shape and style.
Best beauty tip you’ve picked up on a photo shoot?
ˇ
Add mascara and a soft lip for a clean, fresh look.
Best fashion tip?
ˇ
Tie the bottom of your work blouse for a fun weekend or date–night look.
What do you love about your job?
ˇ
The people I work with. Every day, every new job…it’s always new people from all over the world. We are together 10- to 12-hour days for multiple days at a time. For a Southern girl from a small town in North Carolina, meeting people has been my biggest reward. I also love seeing the new trends before they come out. I’m almost too excited at times! I want to reach out to the women who I know will love this outfit and tell them what is on the way.
Growing up, did you struggle with your curves?
ˇ
Did I? Yes! I was always taller than everyone. I hated that people said I was ‘big’ when I was tall. I was always curvier; I didn’t fit in the low-rise jeans that were oh-so-popular at the time.
How did you learn to love your curves?
ˇ
I dressed myself for myself. Once I understood that I didn’t have to have the same style as a smaller woman, I became hot to me.
Fashion advice for other curvy women?
ˇ
Dress for you. Break the made-up boundaries that society has tried to place on us. Feel confident, no matter how you choose to dress.

Sydney Ness
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, this bicoastal blonde loves the hustle of NYC and the hiking and warm weather of LA. Sydney has travelled all over the world since being signed as a junior plus-size model at the age of 14, but says a trip to Paris was her fave.
The self-described “tomboy” shares her laid-back take on fall fashion and tried-and-true styling tricks.
What fall trends are you loving?
ˇ
I love burgundy, that’s like my favorite color for fall. Burgundy and grey. And there’s been a lot of navy in this collection, which I really like too. For people with blonde hair, I feel like navy makes it stand out
What are your must-buys for fall?
ˇ
Style is not my strength. So I usually style all my outfits with different coats. I can wear a white t-shirt, jeans, boots and then just switch out the coat. That’s usually my go-to outfit choice. So I try to buy a few great coats in the fall every year.
Is there a coat you love?
ˇ
I love denim and leather. Those are usually my go-tos. Either an all-black leather jacket or a denim jacket in a lighter wash.
Favorite shoe or boot trend for fall?
ˇ
My go-to is a pair of black booties with a heel. I wear those all the time. I actually just completely wore mine out. I have to go buy new ones this year. But I wear little boots with black jeans or just anything; it looks so cute.
Best beauty tip you’ve ever gotten?
ˇ
When I first started modeling, the trend was very thin eyebrows. There was a woman doing my eyebrows and she was like, ‘I love doing your eyebrows for you, but I’m going to give you a bit of advice: just don’t do anything with them.’ I had really, really bushy eyebrows. I just let them go and I’m really grateful she told me to do that.
Best styling tip?
ˇ
When doing a sloppy tuck, you’re supposed to stare straight ahead. You’re not supposed to look down while you tuck it. ‘Cause if you look back up, it’s going to pull the shirt out.
You just started working with Jessica London…overall impression?
ˇ
The clothes fit really well and are pretty true to size. I’m really tall [5′11″] and the sleeves are long enough, the pants are long enough and that’s normally really hard to find. I love all the colors too. There are a lot of patterns, but they aren’t too loud. They’re very appropriate to wear to work. And then you can throw on a blazer and wear them out at night. They’re very transitional.
You’re a denim girl. What do you think of Jessica London jeans?
ˇ
The first thing I said when I was on set last week was, ‘Whoa, these actually fit.’ They’re very long, which is nice.

Anita Marshall
This Boston beauty got her modeling start five years ago and has starred in everything from lingerie campaigns to editorial for Marie Claire.
For JL’s fall fashion shoot, Anita arrived at a swanky NYC hotel with French bulldog Earl in tow—and a gorgeous smile on her face, despite the 6AM call time. We chatted with the former makeup artist about her personal style and what she’s eyeing from our latest collection.
What fall trends are you loving?
ˇ
I really like the red I’ve been seeing. I guess it’s one of the colors of fall and it’s such a power color. I love it. I would wear anything in red. I like a nice pop of color, maybe just a shoe, clutch or even an earring. Just a little bit of a statement.
What are your must–buys for fall?
ˇ
Accessories. My biggest thing when it comes to an outfit is accessorizing. You can do that with a really cool pair of boots, a really funky purse or big hoop earrings. I love to keep my clothes a little more simple and play with my accessories and jewelry.
Favorite shoe or boot trend for fall?
ˇ
I love a good over–the–knee boot. I actually fell in love with over–the–knee boots last fall.
How do you wear them?
ˇ
Thigh–high boots go really well with some high–waisted skinny jeans. And then add a nice little turtleneck and a cute little jacket; I love that look. I love a good turtleneck with some thigh highs. It’s subtly sexy, but also sophisticated. Very Jessica London.
What looks empower you?
ˇ
Pants. Jeans. And anything formfitting. Powerful and sexy, yet a little mysterious. You’ve got to leave something to the imagination.
Is there a fall jacket on your wish list?
ˇ
I love a good camel coat. A nice camel–colored jacket with a belt is very my style. And anything with pockets. It has to be functional.

Victoria Hüttenbrink
This blonde bombshell hails from Cologne, Germany, but has called NYC home for the past two and a half years.
On a rare day off, you’ll find her sleeping in, hitting the gym and strolling the city with friends or her boyfriend. “I really don’t need much!” says the charismatic model, who stars in Jessica London’s fall campaign and shared her fashion wish list with us.
What fall trends are you loving?
ˇ
Jessica London has nice coats. They have a really nice trench coat with a hood. It’s really long, classic and you can wear it forever. So it’s a good buy for the fall.
What do you look for in a coat?
ˇ
I look for pockets. Always. On everything. A coat with a nice cut that’s smaller in the waist, a little wider in the hips and shoulders and covers the butt.
Other pieces you’re loving from JL?
ˇ
They always have really nice long dresses that are easy to wear. I think everyone could find something on Jessica London’s website. It’s good, classic style.
What are your must–buys for fall?
ˇ
Every fall I love to buy a new pair of boots, a hat, scarf, gloves, a nice handbag and a coat. So a whole new going–out, walking–around outfit.
Favorite boot trend for fall?
ˇ
A Chelsea boot with a little heel, but the ankle needs to be a little wider to make the leg look slimmer.
What look empowers you?
ˇ
A long dress that stops at the knee with a slit so it floats a little bit. Add a fringe boot and a leather jacket—that’s also good for fall. Then finish with a nice big scarf.
Describe your perfect leather jacket…
ˇ
I like the classic black moto style. You get one in your life—a really good one—and then you can stick with that until you’re old. You can wear it with everything and from year to year, it gets nicer because it gets a more vintage look. I like that.
Best fashion tip you’ve picked up on a shoot?
ˇ
Wear a safety pin on your blouse when the buttons are popping up. Put the pin between the two buttons where it opens and then it stays closed, so you can’t look in and see the bra. That’s probably one of the tricks I use the most!
