These aren’t your average makeup tips & tricks. You will have a whole new way of dealing with everyday makeup woes, from the perfect winged liner, to long-lasting lip color & more.

1. Perfect the Cupid’s bow

The perfect pout and the perfect Cupid’s bow go together. Simply create an ‘X’ at your Cupid’s bow and then apply your lipstick like you do normally and voila, Cupid has struck!

2. Blot away those oily spots

Agreed, it does sound gross. But once you know that both blotting paper and toilet seat covers are made of the same fabric, you’ll feel better. It helps absorb any excess oil on your skin. So, the next time you are in the restroom for a quick freshen up, grab an extra cover and pat away!

3. Make sheer eyeliner pop

Sheer shadow & shades with less pigmentation appear deeper on your eyelid when you line it with a white eyeliner. Just run it over your entire eyelid, the opaqueness of the liner will intensify any eyeshadow and make it pop.

4. Pucker up!

A few extra minutes definitely pay off. Place a tissue as a shield against your lip color and dust it with translucent powder and make it instantly long-wearing. It protects color from lightening and keeps it vibrant.

5. #Smokeyeye

Yes, creating a smoky eye look is as easy as drawing a hashtag symbol on the outer corner of your eye, then blend it out & voila, you are ready to rock the party!

6. The kitchen teaspoon is now part of your makeup pouch

The kitchen spoon comes very handy when going for the winged eyeliner look. Just hold the stem of a spoon against the outer corner of your eye and draw a straight line, then flip the spoon to hug your eyelid and use the rounded outer edge to create the perfect winged look.

You can also use the spoon as a shield when applying mascara by holding the spoon to hug your eyelids. The sweeping action of the mascara wand will leave residue on the spoon and not on your skin, saving you from the post mascara clean up.

7.  The inverted triangle concealer

Dotting concealer on the spots you need coverage is something we all do. But wait until you start drawing out an inverted triangle under your eyes and blending it in. Dark circles & under eye bags look like they never existed and instantly creates the illusion that your face is lifted, making you look bright and radiant.

8. Turn on the heat & curl your lashes

Blowing hot air on your eyelash curler, will make curling easier and your eyelashes will stay curled for longer. This works the same way heat changes the pattern of your hair and holds in a curl. Just hold your lash curler against the blow dryer and wait till cools a little, but is still warm, and then clamp your lashes and curl.

9. For that perfect line

Find it hard to use a pencil liner for a smooth line? Hold your liner under the flame for one second, and let it cool & watch the consistency change. Now you can glide on your new gel liner with a smudgy formula for that perfect line.

10. Baby powder to pump up the volume

Use baby powder in-between each layer of mascara to make them look longer and fuller. Dip a Q-tip in baby powder and apply to the base and tips of lashes & sweep on another coat.
