This dress is a great color and style. However, it is not as much cotton as described and much more spandex than stated making it hot and clingy. If I had known how much spandex was actually in it, I would not have ordered it as I live in a hot and humid climate. I prefer cotton and this states only a "touch" of spandex. I would recommend this to a friend if and only if they didn't mind the spandex.

I bought this product to wear to an outdoor graduation ceremony. I plan to wear it under the companion big-shirt. The color match is perfect.
My only complaint is that the dress is soooo long! It literally sweeps the floor! I'm 5'3, and plan to take at least 10" off the length. All in all I like the dress and would recommend it as a casual buy.

I purchased this dress specifically for a couple of summer conventions I will be attending. However, I may wear it out before the convention!! It wears very well and washes up so nicely. The color, blue, is nice for me. I have also worn it to work (I play organ for a Catholic Church) and except for the sleveless part, it is perfect. I also purchased one of the big blouses/shirts to go over it as a cover for modesty and warmth. I would recommend this dress to any of my friends. I am 5' 9" and the length could not be any longer. I think I would caution some of my height impared friends to order a petite size and still be ready to manually shorten the dress...but it would be worth it!! I really can't speak to the durability of the dress. However, I notice cloths don't seem to last as long as they used to...so I expect a couple of good summers from this dress...maybe longer. Additionally, I spilled milk chocolate all over the front of this dress the first time I wore it!! The stain came out beautifully by treating with Dawn dishwashing detergent and regular COSTCO (Kirtland) brand laundry detergent. I'll probably order another color soon...:)

This dress is marvelous! You can add any overlay you want and change it around, so it never looks like you are wearing the same outfit. You can put a shrug over it, or you can put a sheer shirt that you don't feel comfortable only wearing alone, and create many different looks. I bought basic black, so there are many ways to change it, but I plan on buying some colors. I got the bright pink for my mom, and she looks great in it. Pink is a very flattering color on most every woman. Great dress!
