I purchased this for a costume for a play set in the 1940s. The Jacket is unlined but it made it easy to alter. The skirt is made of a scratchy double knit. The suit is very light weight ( some would say flimsy) and was quite flattering. The quality was not worth the price but I think I payed more for the size of the suit then the quality. [...] For the most part what you see is what you get

[...] I was extremely disappointed when I actually saw the outfit. It looks far more 'substantial' in the picture. I actually thought it would be heavier. The fabric is flimsy and on the skirt there is literally no hem. The jacket is unlined and the faux fur collar and cuffs are thin as well. I will keep to wear occassionally, perhaps during light weather, but it really is not a 'winter outfit'. I am hoping the next outfit I order will be much better.
