My only problem and the reason I had to return the dress was that I am very long waisted and the empire waist just did not fall in the right place. The dress just seemed to be very short from the shoulders to the waist and that is not normally the case for me with this type of waist.

I got this dress for a banquet I must attend in about a month. The dress was a deeper blue than I thought it would be, but I still love it. Great fit under at the bodice. Great length. The blue one is perfect w/ a pair of silver shoes and silver accessories.

I am a 5' tall, 200 lbs, pear shaped woman. I was concerned about the fit of this dress from the other reviews but what I found was simply fabulous. It fit in just under my ribcage right where it is supposed to. The neckline was low enough to be sexy but not so much as to feel self-consience. Like I said SIMPLY FABULOUS!!!!!

I ordered 2 different sizes to make sure one of them fit, where dresses tend to run a bit different. The larger of the 2 sizes was still about 2 sizes too small. I followed the size charts available on the website, so was disappointed when even the larger of the 2 sizes were too small. The dress is beautiful and looks very well made. I know the size issue is the manufacturer. However, may want to list in description it runs small.

this runs at least 2 sizes too small. I always take a 24 in a special occassion dress even in a heavily beaded one yet this wouldn't go over my bust. wanted it for my son's wedding have to find something else now.

Either the darts in the bust area were askew or the bust was too big for the size. The armpit areas were too low -- the bra could be seen. A proper size would have been very flattering. However a size up would have made the rest of the dress too big.

I ordered this is two sizes, 16W and 18W, because I wasn't sure which would fit. The 16 W would not zip up becasue it was too small. Usually 18W is too large in the bust and has to be taken in. The lining of the 18W was too small for my hips. The top fit OK. I would have loved to keep this dress but couldn't wear it for the wedding, so will not order a larger size--too late.
