Followed sizing guide and ordered the size to fit my measurements, however it was HUGE (also it was missing the shawl). I called Roamans, and asked for an exchange, they were out of one size smaller, so I risked taking 2 sizes down (really wanted it for my cruise). The smaller size fits perfect !! Roamans has great service. This dress is absolutely Beautiful !! I am wearing on formal night on my cruise, but this can be worn to ANY special occasion (wedding, formal, etc).

I wore this dress for my son's wedding and was absolutely stunning. I intend to wear it again New Year's Eve. The length works great for those who have less than perfect legs. The shawl is just what I needed to cover my mid to upper arms. Definitely gets attention from everyone.

I am not sure if I am going to keep this...I got this for a black tie wedding and it is pe\retty , maybe with an all over body slimmer it would look better, but the emphisis is alot on the bustline....but I ordered a 20 and I am normally a 22 so with the undergarmet I had I could easily zip it up....but I htink it was jsut cuz of the slip I had on. But I think I will kepp it cuz I got it for [$] was a great deal!

This dress is beautiful! Many have commented to order bigger but if you are a pear shape with a smaller top/chest and larger bottom you might want to go a size smaller. I am 5'9 and usually wear a 22 bottom and 18/20 top. I purchased a size 20 and it fits perfectly. It does help if you are taller. This fits me at mid-calf. I can't wait to wear this to my 20 year reunion and a couple of weddings!

My major problem with this dress as well as others is that they never have a PLUS size person modeling them. So they look great on the size 2 model, but you never know how it is going to sit on a person with more pronounced curves! Other than that it is a beautiful dress!

My son is getting married at the end of this month. I am so excited to wear this beautiful dress. I am 5'2" so the dress appears to be more of a "formal gown" on me. Which is exactly what I wanted!!! Plus, it is so flattering in the fact that it hides those unwanted body flaws. All without looking like a tent. I am thinking of adding a rhinestone broach at the center of the empire waist for a bit of sparkle...? Don't know for sure yet, I'll have to see what that will look like.

A beautiful gown for me (mother of the groom). I just wish it had been in other colors, as I would have liked other choices. I thought the gown was a bit longer than pictured. That or my legs are shorter than I thought! :) All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

I wore this to a dance-I should have went one more size up because I am busty. The waist and bodice were okay. The shawl is an added bonus. If you have a function to go to at moments notice-this a wonderful dress. It is mature, youthful and elegent all at once!

Well I have bigger upper body as well as lower, the shawl really worked well. I sported this very sleek dress to a banquet and was right on time. More complements that a little. I will suggest it to others but remember it is a look for banquets,being in weddings or some special occasion

The dress was beautiful and [...]. I ordered 2 sizes too big and it fit me pretty well. Did take it to the tailor to be altered a smidge and to be steamed. Within minutes of steaming it was very wrinkled again. They resteamed it. Same thing. I wore this in my sister's wedding and felt great in it though! I'd recommend it, just order a size or two bigger.

i bought this dress to wear as matron of honor in my mom's wedding. it fits great. had to order two sizes up tho. ordered other dresses from jessica london and had the same issue. the dress is very flattering, flows over the body. very bra friendly. like other reviews, is lower cut than some of us might be used to. showing it on a full figured model may be helpful to some people.

This is a beautiful dress that I will be wearing to a summer evening wedding. The dress fit perfectly and I ordered my larger size of the 2 sizes that usually fit. It will need to be pressed but otherwise feels like a nice quality. Very flowing and swirling when you move and I feel very feminine in this dress. !

Love this dress, the look is wonderful, it is better than I thought it would look. I am 5'8" tall and the length of the dress is just as I like it "LONGER", though a person who is 5'2" would need a petite or have it altered it is the same length on me as on the model in the picture. When I say "Fit Feels Too Small" I am talking about the bustline, the rest of the dress is wonderful. Though I am a size 44DD this dress was snug in the bustline and I can get through that, and it shows my bra, so I will have to buy a strapless, at my size I hope I can find one that will stay up...

All in all this dress is beautiful and looks great on. I can't wait to wear it on our cruise. Everyone needs a black dress, little or not...

I bought this dress not expecting it to look as beautiful as it does. The on-line picture was pretty, but I did not expect it to look better in person. I brought it to work to show my friends, and we were all pretty amazed at how pretty it was in person. I am going to wear it to a wedding. I do not know how wrinkle resistant it will be, but it is pretty!

I have learned that you need to order clothes form this catalogue a size or two smaller than the size charts say. If you do that, then you will find that the clothes will fit. I keep a mental list of what size I wear in what catalogue.
