I have ordered this coat in the past. I was attracted by the "new color", the Black Watch plaid, and I ordered it. The colors were horrible -- the green was a murky grey and there was no relation to the real navy and green Black Watch Scottish plaid. I returned that coat and exchanged it for another solid black one. I can still wear the old black one, but it's too big now (but still comfy). The coat is wonderful when it's cold, altho I don't wear the hood because it is too big and heavy and pulls down the coat in the back. The big collar keeps my neck warm if worn up with a scarf. The fabric is fine quality wool and makes for a warm and comfortable coat. It's not too short and skimpy nor too long and easy to trip over. Just the right length and weight.

I had purchased this for myself, however, it looked much better on my mom, who is kinda short.
The sleeves were too short for me, but for her the whole coat looked like it was made for her.

I wish I would have ordered the camel color. The cinnabar color is really orangey, not as dark a color as pictured in the catalog. But I love the way it fits and looks.

This is a wonderful coat! I just love it. I have also received many, many, many compliments on its appearance. One recommendation I have for this is to order a size larger. I used the measurements, but then figured with clothes underneath I may want the larger size and I am glad I did. I believe it may run a little small. However, it is still perfect and I love it.

I really like this coat but the toggles are not sewn securely resulting, after one wear, came apart from leather patch and had to be taken to seamstress for repair.

Since I began wearing this coat everyday I have gotten a number of positive coments, all good. I like the look and the fit. On Monday 12-8 the weather was really cold and I got to feel first hand how warm this coat was. The color is delightful and I am thinking of getting another in a different color.

This is a great coat. The toggles are nicely made with rope and not twine. I think it's a nice, classic coat that will last a very long time. The quality of the coat is wonderful.

I bought this red coat last year. And then I bought one in tan this year. I was unhappy with the tan coat and the wear of the coat. The toggle came off as well as the inside buttons after a few times of wearing it. The material seemed to "pill" and it looks like I've had it for years!

I only wish it were available in the original color I requested (Black). The Black color was in back order status with out a clear date of replenishment. I then chose Cinnabar.

This is the coat I've always dreamed of! I got it in black. It is so beautiful and makes me feel so great every time I put it on.Winters are cold and long here and this coat blocks the wind like a shield! It doesn't make me feel weighted down with to much bulk either. The hood is nice and roomy: comes right up past my face.It fits great overall. This is the most beautiful coat I've ever owned!

Love the look and the fit and the color -- just could have had a bit more lining for very cold days -- but great for 30-45 degrees but you can always put on a sweater I guess.

I use this product every chance I get. I will not wear it in the rain, because it does not keep you dry. With a jacket underneath it is a very warm coat. It is an ok coat to wear during some of Chicago's mild weather, but not for the subzero temperatures.

I love my coat. The only problem i have with it is that I am tall and the sleeves need to be longer. The cuff will roll down some, but it takes away from the design.
