I was hoping the waist would be lower, but it is an empire waist. This is very unflattering for my body type. I also thought the dress would be cuter and sexier, but it looked like I could wear it to a funeral. (Maybe it would be different if the dress wasn't about 1 size too big?)

As a first time Jessica London customer, I used the size chart provided on the website. I even ordered a few sizes smaller than the chart said I needed because I knew what size I normally was. When the dress arrived, it was STILL much too large! I am a plus size girl, and I appreciate clothing that fits, but the size charts on the website were just not accurate!

It's a really nice dress - I love the softness of it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the bust is a little big for me. I'm a C cup and the bust is definately more geared to a D or larger. I find that most clothes my size are geared to a bigger bust though. It's a pretty dress - great color

Very cute dress. I wasn't sure how it would look on a "bigger" girl since the model isn't really a plus size model. The dress does make your chest look bigger than it is. But it's still a cute dress. I'm going to wear it to a wedding in August. I wanted a dress that was a light color and could be both dressy and casual. And this is the dress.

This is truly a special dress for a special occasion, and the soft color is beautiful, appearing much as pictured.
I do not see it as a dress for work, except perhaps in an artistic field, because it is chiffon and ultra-feminine.
Some buyers love the sleeves; I found them rather bare, "Cap Sleeves," instead of the usual "Short Sleeves" which go a little above the elbow. However, the sleeves are indeed pretty and feature the "Flutter Sleeve" design.
Waist and neckline details make the dress a dress-up occasion favorite.

This is the second one I bought in black. For some odd reason the neckline has some stiff binding and it has wrinkled or creased between the fabric. I tried to steam and iron them out but could not get the wrinkles out. I have no problem with the other dress it is perfect.

It was a little brighter than I thought it would be, but still a pretty color. The dress is extremely versatile. Can be worn under a blazer for work and adding additional jewelry and stilettos, can be transformed into a date outfit. However, the dress is extremely sheer and must be worn with a slip for more modesty. I did not realize until I had gotten to work and looked in the full length bathroom mirror. Thank goodness I did not have to leave the office without my overcoat...also ordered from Jessica London :)! Overall a good buy.

I purchased this dress in black. I had been looking for a little black dress. I wear a size 26 and sometimes a 28. This dress was very flattering and fit well. It flatters your bustline and hides a tummy if you have one. The skirt draped nicely over my hips and I felt very feminine and pretty in it. The length was just right for my height. I wear a uniform at work but if I were working in an office, this dress would work there too with different accessories and jewelry. Very nice dress.

I ordered this dress in two sizes - my normal size and the next size up just in case -and I found that it was completely true to size. I think that this is a great buy for a dress that is very versatile. It can be dressed up or down and is perfect for Spring and Summer. Would look great with heels or sandals. I am very pleased with this purchase.
