The sweater is voluminous and the ruffles don't always cooperate by laying exactly in the manner I would like, but overall it's really fun, flirty and cozy. I like that it's on the big side because I feel smaller in it somehow, and I'd rather something were a little too big than too small.

I am five foot, two inches tall and the sleeves are way too long. To wear this item I have to fold the sleeves back and make a cuff then stitch it in place. If this were in 3/4 length sleeves it would have been perfect.

Sadly, I have sent this one back. I agree with an earlier reviewer. There were no ruffles. The entire length of the collar all the way to the bottom, just lay flat like a jumbo shawl collar. The ruffles are what made it so attractive. Just didn't look the same as described.

There are no ruffles like in the picture - the 'ruffles' are just large swatches of fabric that lay flat. There is no shape, so it just hangs off of you like a blob. It looks sloppy. The length is too long. It does not flatter your figure. Caution: in the mirror objects appear larger! Smaller size would not help. It is not confortable because of these issues.

This is an all time,any time occasion piece. It's comfortable, warm, and fits perfect and is just the way I like it. This can even be worn as an over coat, I've put it on for an over coat and it kept me warm and I live in Chicago, IL now imagine that with the weather that we have here during this time of the year.
