The show bows out at the side when you wear them enough so that you could slide your finger in on both sides at the same time. I will surely only wear these shoes with long pants. However, due to the size of my feet I am glad that I have something that I can wear. I can't always find anything even in the plus size catalogs (wonder why that is when they should cover wide widths in the current styles).
