I was going to wear the sweater quite often to work and at my leisure; however, it is not as long as viewed in the picture. It stops right above my knee. Perhaps it was not designed for my height of 5'9. The pricing was okay. What I really dislike about the sweater is that the black color faded after just 1 wash.

I have to return this as it is way, way, way too small. I ordered a 3X which is usually ample, but it was more like a 1X. Also, the sleeves, while long enough, were too narrow. I would have removed the lace and left the velvet, and I would have preferred to have the nice cable knit from the front also included on the back. Sigh. Still, I would have kept it if it fit.

I ordered this for a wedding, but the quality is not what I had come to expect, its okay, maybe average but not whatI was hoping for. It does not hold its shape well and looks a bit frumpy after a short time.

I did like it. Not the color so much. It was a nice looking sweater coat. Not fitted enough for me, made me feel bigger than I am. I would recommend for others thou. I think I would have needed a smaller size, but it wasn't worth the trouble of a exchange.

Sweater is nice, I got the black one. The color is not really as expected but I can deal with it. I should had got a size smaller, but I guess I see when I wash it. The material reminds me of a bath towel or something.

Really like it as a "throw it on and go" type of light sweater with a bit of a flair. Color of is not as "warm" as I would of liked. It looks like kind of a gold color on picture but is more beige than I usually like. With the black borders tho it works.
It is a little bigger than I thought it would be, but will probably work better so other bulkier shirts,sweaters or whatever can be worn comfortably under it.
Overall, it's a good buy!

The cut of this sweater is flattering. Velvet ties are a bit long but that can be fixed 'snip'! This is very true to size so it makes for a nice tailored fit. Lace detailing is fun and accentuates in all the right places.

First of all, when I got this, I wasn't crazy about it. I got the black one. I thought the material would be a little thinner than it looked in the picture. I thought it also looked a lot better on the size 2 model than it did me (I wish they'd use plus size models for the pictures...what's up with that, anyways?). I also did not like the long velvet string at the waist, because it really did not contrast well with the coat...so I cut it off. Anyways, I wore it out today, and I kind of warmed up to it. It's perfect for a breezy spring or fall day, and it looks good with some black dress pants and heels.

I love this sweater coat. Very comfortable and classy. It's just a feel good piece to my wardrobe. The only thing I don't like is the long velvet strings attached at the waist. I just cut them off, problem solved.
