I'm doing this review for my mom whom I purchased the gown for. She looked beautiful in it & received many compliments. She wore it at my sister's wedding. She says that it fit well except for the sleeves of the jacket which were a little too tight. Overall a great gown for special occasions.

I had planned on using this for Mother of the Bride but with my gray and white hair, being 5'1" and not really knowing my size it was 1) not a pink champagne color, too much yellow in the shine, and too big and too long. Otherwise, I would have loved it! I am a sewer of long standing and it was made exceptionally well. If the color would have been pink with a silver shine, I could have altered it for myself. It was my first purchase from Jessica London (and internet clothing purchase) and I was very pleased with the process.

The dress is beautiful, however the jacket runs 2 sizes too small. I ordered the dress in a size larger after reading the reviews and the jacket was still too small. I ordered the next size up and that jacket was too small also. I wanted to wear it to my daughter's wedding but I am returning both dresses. The jacket wasn't made in line with the size of the dress.

The dress is beautiful but the jacket is too small. I had to purchase a second dress in a larger size to get the jacket to fit and the jacket is still snug. I really like the dress and I purchased it to wear to my daughter's wedding.

the jacket is a little snug on the upper part of my arm. i bought it bigger than i need it to be just in case it was a tight fit. the dress is roomy but the jacket could be a little less tight but overall a beautiful dress i bought for a wedding im going to in september

The dress was true to size, but the jacket was about two sizes too small in the arms. Had to order another set, just to have a larger jacket to wear with the original dress. Interesting that the larger jacket had the embellishments on the sleeve as shown in the ads whereas the smaller, tighter jacket did not.

This is a very pretty dress and the picture does not do it justice. The fabric is very shimmery and just perfect for my son's wedding this weekend. The only imperfection that I see is that the inner lining hangs a little too low on the front of the dress, but that can be easily fixed. I'm looking forward to wearing it!

Purchased this dress as a second choice for my son's wedding and it ended up as my 1st choice.
I'm much bigger in the hips than shoulders so expect to have to take both the jacket and top of the dress in, but the jacket fit very well and I only had to have the dress taken up and in on the top. Was worried that it might wrinkle easily but after the intial pressing it wore well. Just the right length for me to wear a 1-1/2" heal (I'm 5'5") The champagne color with the gold shimmer is very pretty. Got many compliments on it at the wedding. Makes for a great Mother of the bride or groom dress.

I LOVE this dress! Fits perfectly. Elegant yet comfortable! Lightweight. Jacket somewhat snug in shoulders but I attribute that to my big shoulders. I read the reviews after I'd ordered it and wasn't happy when I read it actually has a side zipper instead of back zipper as advertized because I do not like size zips, however, the dress slips right on - I didn't have to deal with the zipper. I didn't think it was too shiney, until I had some photos of me wearing it taken today and saw that where the light and flash hit the dress, brighter, goldish, colors came out in different areas and it doesn't look good in the photos. Now, I'm torn whether to wear it to the event I bought it for.

This dress is nice but, it does not match the write up in the book.

It does not have beading, no embroidery on the sleeves, zipper is on the side not the back and it is much too light weight for the type of dress it is.

The jacket is smaller than the dress.

I ordered the dress to wear to my first sons wedding. Its a beautiful dress, however it did not look exactly like the picture, it was missing the beautiful decor on the sleeves which to me made the dress seem even more elegant. I put it on 3 or four times in hopes that i would be okay with wearing it but i was disapointed and decided to wear something else, because it was not what i wanted, i wanted the dress that I saw in the picture, unfortunately, i will be sending it back. I am wearing it to a black tie event. I cannot coment on how it wrinkles or if it rises up because I have not gone to the event.
I walked around in it for a few minutes, and I love how it looks and feels.
The gown could be a little smaller in the waist and hips, the jacket fits perfectly. So if I had gotten a smaller size, I would not have been able to fit the jacket.
I am looking forward to wearing it to the event!
