Good basic. Almost too long for me. I am short but cannot wear a petite, so I rarely order dresses due to the length. Like the dress very much, but wish I hadn't ordered since it will have to be hemmed and take off one of the buttons on the bottom.

I like the versatility of having a separate jacket I can mix and match with other outfits, as well as wear a different jacket or sweater with the dress itself. I was disappointed in one thing...the heaviness and stiffness of the fabric. The label said it was already prewashed, but I immediately washed it again and used fabric softener to see if it would make a difference. It really did not. It's not awful, but I was disappointed it wasn't a little more lightweight and less stiff.

I really like this dress. The dress part of it fits great and I like the look. The jacket is a little different. It is made durable but the sleeves are a little small. I bought two sizes one to fit and the other too large and neither of the jackets accomodated the size of my arms. My arms are not abnormally large but the sleeves are made small.

I thought that this would be a nice item to wear to work, dressed up with heels or down with boots. I was wrong. I did wear the jacket though. My daughter said that I should have just made it myself. Perhaps I should have gotten the denim one instead of the teal (which is very bright).
