This dress is simply awesome. I am glad that I ordered a size smaller than I normally do as it seems to run a little larger in size, but I would highly recommend this dress. It is perfect for a nice dinner out, a funeral, the opera, the theater, church, special parties, it is the perfect little black dress. I wear an elegant pashmina with it to dress it up with a pear necklace or wear it by itself for a more elegant casual look.

This is a very functional dress. My immediate thought was that I will need to accessorize to get a more finished look. For me, the dress will need a chain belt or a wide leather belt to maximize the look and to define the waist. It will also need just the right necklace, something bold. I ordered the dress in black. And for certain a good boot or bootie will bring the look together. The neckline is not as pictured. I expected more of a plunging v-neck line. The deeper plunge would have made the dress more alluring.

I liked the color, but the size although I can wear an 18 as well as a 16, this 18 was too big. So I would say it runs big? When I tried it on my husband said I looked like Kate Smith. It came down to my ankles. I felt if I ordered a smaller size, the bust wouldn't fit right? I did like the way the bottom flared out. I will return this dress.

I wore this dress to a Tea and it served it purpose for me. Everyone said I look marvelous. The dress wore well and the length was perfect with heels, boots, or flats. One thing I like about the dress was - it didn't show too much clevage and the jewlery accented the dress well. Thank you for having this dress available and in both colors for me. And it hid a multitude of curves that were not flattering. With the proper undergarments, the dress looked great!
