I've replaced the buttons with slightly smaller buttons that match the main color of the dress and stitched up the excess button hole areas so they don't come unbuttoned. Also added an extra button/button hole at the bottom because the other reviews are right about too much gap there. Now I like the dress.

Like the dress, but not sure it looks great on me. Maybe a little old fashioned on my figure type. I will let out the hem as much as I can, and sew up the slit. It really shows too much leg for a plus size gal. Got a bargain, so won't send it back.

I don't wear dresses often which is due mainly to the difficulty in finding a proper fit and style.
Throughout the years, I have found that the classic lines of the "shirtdress" compliment my body type and frame. But, finding a dress that wasn't too short, too long and clingy was a bit of a challenge.
When I spotted this dress and read the description, I took a huge leap of faith and ordered not one but two--different colors.
When my order arrived, I tried on the dress and was pleasantly surprised at how well it fit--how proportioned it was and the fabric is very wrinkle resistant. I can sit at my desk for hours and not worry about looking as though I am wearing an accordion which ususally occurs with cotton/linen blends.
There is ample room in the bust area (don't have to tug at it to close up a gap) and the dress falls nicely without that clingy-show-every-roll-of-flesh that happens with spandex-infused fabric.
I am very pleased with my purchases and they are a flattering additon to my wardrobe.

If you are short, the bottom button is placed at a modest level. If you are taller than 5'3", you might want to put a snap below the button for modesty's sake.

I was very disappointed that I had to return this dress. It is very, very cute but there is too much of an opening at the bottom in front, below the last button, so I wont be able to wear it.

The size is a poor fit which means it is smaller than expected. Cannot button the top button because it is choking the neck but the rest of dress is okay in fit.

Really like this dress - an added plus is that it is machine washable - hate the dry cleaning bill.

I love the look of this dress; it looks like the picture in the catalog! I also love the feel and comfort of the fabric. Both my husband and my daughter spontaneously (without my solicitation) commented on how nice I looked in it.

This dress is so easy to wear to work. It is great on its own or with a jacket. I always get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is because it shows a little too much leg at the bottom for my taste. It could use just one more button at the bottom.

I LOVE this dress!! Finally, a dress that doesn't drag on the floor, it's flattering and very classic. I wish it came in maybe a light pink or a bright red as well. Bring it back next year with more colors!

This will be good in the summer. It is comfortable and light. The only drawback was that there is no button toward the botttom, which leaves it open quite high at the legs.

I felt as if I was drowning in the material. The dress is not flattering to a plus size woman (size 18). From the waist up, there was a feeling of to much material. The big white buttons didn't help either. I didn't realize it until I received the dress.
