The hidden-slimmer might be good if it were in the same size as the dress. I ordered the dress and when I got it, not only was it a MUCH brighter color than expected, but the hidden-slimmer felt like a full length, top to bottom girdle...one that was too small. It was not only unattractive, but very uncomfortable.

This is a lovely dress and the lining gives a gentle smoothing. I am busty with a narrow waist (size X or 1X) and the waist feels too big so i might take it in. Overall it is a high quality dress and the blue is very vibrant.

The description leads you to believe the the "slimmer" panel has CONTROL properties ie; 10 lbs. slimmer - the panel is simply a nice quality lining only. And the dress seems larger than the size ordered. Save your time and money. Very disappointing - dress had good quality sewing / materials.
