This dress is very classy and formal, yet still is suitable for all but the most casual of functions. I have received a large number of compliments when I have worn this dress and they say I look far better in it than slacks.
If there is one caveat, it is its heavy 100% polyester construction. While there is nothing wrong with the material itself, the dress WILL be uncomfortable outside in temperatures above 70F/21C. So if you expect to be outside in the sun for long periods of time with those temperatures, you may wish to wear another dress that is made from cotton. Black polyester, bright sunlight, and warm temperatures do not mix!
All said however, this is a wonderful dress that I love to wear, even for simple things like going for a walk in the park or enjoying a quick lunch at a picnic area.

The design of this dress is absolutely beautiful! It will be a really great dress for the "top heavy" or "Y-shaped" woman. However, this is not my case. I'm more averagely proportioned, so the fit on top is a bit off for me. The bust area and arms are really large/loose fitting, while the rest of the dress has a nice "hugging fit" to it. It will look much better with some minor alterations. I would definately recommend this dress to my friends with the appropriate height/body type. Purchase only if you're 5'6 and over, and love heels!
